Dr. Khaled Abughazaleh

Dr. Abughazaleh is one of our oral surgeons. He works out of our Midway Airport office and our Lincoln Park office.

Dr Abughazaleh received his Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree from the University of Jordan in 1992. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995, after which he received his specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is certified by the American Boards of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Dental Anesthesiology.

Upon completion of his training, he joined the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry as a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor with limited private practice. While at the university, Dr. Abughazaleh worked closely with the Department of Prosthodontics, and directed implant postgraduate courses and continuing education programs. He has also lectured extensively, both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Abughazaleh is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Chicago Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is former president of the Illinois Society of Dental Anesthesiology. At the present time, he is in private practice, and travels to provide volunteer surgical care.
