Dr. Mahmoud Mona

Dr. Mahmoud Mona is an endodontist, researcher, and educator with a deep passion for endodontics and dental microsurgery, driven by his desire to alleviate patients' pain. He continuously incorporates the latest scientific discoveries into his practice, striving to provide an exemplary clinical experience. His primary goal is to save natural teeth while delivering pain-free root canal treatments.

Dr. Mona graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the College of Dentistry, along with a PhD from the College of Medicine at the University of Florida. During his training, he conducted extensive research in stem cell biology and tissue regeneration over four years. His academic excellence earned him multiple honors, including the Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology prestigious award and the Excellence in Research award.

Following his graduation, Dr. Mona completed a two-year specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he also obtained a master’s in medical sciences (MSc) with a focus on dental proteomics and biomarkers. During his residency, he received several awards, including the AAE2022 Excellence in Research Award and the Clinical Excellence in Endodontics award from the UF College of Dentistry.
