How to Overcome Your Anxiety About Going to the Dentist

Ask Someone to Come With You

You can also ask someone to come with you to the appointment. While most dentists prefer not to have extra people in the exam area, they will make exceptions when it is in the best interests of their patients. Just having a loved one nearby can be enough to calm you.

Talk to the Dentist
